11 Fabulous Wedding Gifts for the Couple That Cooks
With wedding season approaching, here is a list of 11 fabulous wedding gifts for the couple that cooks. {Though, they'd be perfect for a bridal show, too!}

Today is my husband Mark's and my 11th anniversary. Yes, 11 years ago today on May Day, we became husband and wife. And of course, being the jokester that my adorable husband is, he always-and-forever jokes "May day, may day!" when talking about our wedding day. #HeThinksHesFunny
In hindsight, perhaps I should have insisted on us picking a different wedding date.
In honor of our anniversary and with 'wedding season' approaching, I thought it would be fun to share a few photos from our extra-special day and few ideas for wedding gifts for the couple that cooks.

Left: My father kissing me on the cheek at the end of our walk down the aisle. Right: My niece Lauren bear-hugging me after the ceremony {so sweet}.

If you've got friends or family members getting married this 'wedding season,' here are 11 ideas ... one idea in honor of each of Mark's and my 11 years of marriage ... of my favorite wedding gifts for the couple that cooks.
Enjoy!
1. A Custom-Engraved Chopping Block from my friends at cherryBLOX is a perfect personalized wedding {or bridal shower} gift. And ... paired with a chef's or paring knife from the wedding couple's registry ... is now my GO-TO wedding gift. Available in two sizes, these extra-thick cherry wood chopping blocks can be personalized to your liking ... with names, monograms, wedding dates, or even sayings.
2. A Classic Chef's Knife
or Classic Santoku Knife
is always welcome in the kitchen! I like to select a knife from the wedding couple's registry and pair it with a Custom-Engraved Chopping Block from my friends at cherryBLOX, as shown in idea #1 above.
3. A Large Stock Pot
4. A fabulous cookbook is always a great gift idea. Here are a few of my favorites:
5. A Belgian Waffle Maker
6. A nice Steak Knife Set
7. A Pasta Maker and/or Ravioli Maker

Pewter Measuring Spoon Set

Le Creuset Dutch Oven
10. A Kitchen Torch
is probably my favorite kitchen tool! Though not the most-frequently-used item in the kitchen, it sure comes in handy when making creme brulee ... or wanting to toast a marshmallow garnish in hot cocoa or a wintery cocktail.

8. How about a Fun Measuring Spoon Set
? I have this bamboo-patterned pewter set {a gift from my best friend}, and they're the measuring spoons I always grab first. They'd be extra-fun paired with some fun-flavored olive oils and/or balsamic vinegars!
