Then? You just need to give it a little wait time in the refridge.

And believe me, that's the only hard part of this "recipe" The waiting.

But you've got to wait ... for everything to get all "right" together.

So what are the three simple ingredients needed to make this easy comfort food favorite?

Quite simply a can of fruit cocktail, some mini marshmallows, and Cool Whip.

If you're not a fan of Cool Whip, you could certainly make your own homemade whipped cream instead. Homemade whipped cream will work just great, too. Whipping together about 3/4 cup whipping cream, 1 & 1/2 tablespoons sugar, and 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract should do the trick.

During the "waiting" in the refrigerator, the marshmallows soak up juice from the fruit cocktail and moisture from the Cool Whip, and get all soft and mushy. And "right."
