Pasta Jambalaya
Always on the lookout for convenient, quick ways to get a delicious dinner on the table? Me, too! With the help of Imagine® Culinary Simmer Sauces, I can have dishes like this Pasta Jambalaya on the table in under 15 minutes. Thank you to Imagine® for that, and for sponsoring this post.
I'm always looking for new ways to get high-quality, delicious meals on the table quick. You know, those in-my-back-pocket quick things I can whip out when life's craziness cuts short the time I have to get dinner ready. {Hmmm, which seems to happen quite often, actually.} We all have quick, go-to things, right? Those plans for when our plans don't go as planned?
Well, now I have a new quick, go-to thing in my back-pocket arsenal of plans. Thanks to Imagine® Culinary Simmer Sauces.
Actually, I have four new go-to quick ideas ... 'cause Imagine's® sauce doesn't come in just one flavor. Nope. Their yummy versatile sauces come in four creative flavors. That's four creative flavors that can help get a great dinner plan going and on the table in about 10 minutes flat.
Want to know what the four flavors are?
I thought you might.
The fine folks at Imagine® put together a great line-up of unique simmer sauce flavors, including Portobello Red Wine, Latin Veracruz, Louisiana Creole, and Thai Coconut Curry.
I used Louisiana Creole to whip up this hearty Pasta Jambalaya.

With these simmer sauces, your plan for getting dinner ready can happen with just 3 easy steps.
First, simply sear your protein of choice ... like chicken, beef, shrimp, or even tofu. For my Pasta Jambalaya, I decided to do a combination of three meats ... some chicken, some shrimp, and a bit of smoked sausage.
Second, pour in the Imagine® Culinary Simmer Sauce and simmer for about 3 to 5 minutes.
And third, serve up your creation.
Well, that's easy, right? Oh yes, yes it is.
For the jambalaya, I stirred in some thawed frozen peas and cooked pasta at the very end. All they had to do was spend about a minute in the pan to heat through ... and we were ready to dive in to the deliciousness.
Not only do I love the flavor of the Louisiana Creole sauce and the ease with which I can get dinner on the table, I love that it's certified organic with no artificial ingredients and no preservatives.
And guess what.
Just like Imagine® sent me this "Pan with a Plan" pack ... including a pouch of each of their 4 simmer sauce flavors, a new saucepan, and a grocery Visa gift card to buy some ingredients to go with my sauces ... they want to send some of you a "Pan with a Plan" prize pack, too!
That's right.
Just visit the Imagine® Facebook page and follow their instructions to enter for your chance to win a "Pan with a Plan" prize pack! Each week for 6 weeks {mid-October through November}, 8 winners will be selected to receive a prize pack. That's a total of 48 winners! {I multiplied that right, right?} I hope one of them is you!! {Full entry rules are detailed on the Imagine® Facebook page.}
Now that I've given Louisiana Creole a try, I can't wait to create with the other three simmer sauce flavors. With Portobello Red Wine, Latin Veracruz, and Thai Coconut Curry still to try, my pan can have lots of plans!
Tell me, tell me ... which flavor would you try first??
