Sparkling Cosmopolitan Perfect for girls' night in, brunch, or a random Tuesday. Or, with it's beautiful cranberry base and garnish, for Thanksgiving sipping, too!
It's no secret I love my wine. When you take a look at the beverages section of my Recipe Index, there's no disputing that. ... a significant number of the beverages I've shared are wine-based.
And the majority of those wine-based beverages? They're sparkling!
Oh, how I love my bubbles. Which makes it no surprise that I absolutely love bubbly cocktails ... like this Sparkling Cosmopolitan.
I'm not exactly sure how my love for wine and bubbles started.
Perfect for girls' night in, brunch, or a random Tuesday. Or, with it's beautiful cranberry base and garnish, for Thanksgiving sipping, too!
I think it started back in my mid-twenties when I was working in corporate America. Quite often, I had to go out for those swanky marathon-take-forever team and client dinners. At first I loved them. But truth be told, despite the great food and ever-flowing libations, they do indeed get old after awhile.
But one plus of those marathon business dinners? I sure got to taste more than my fair share of wines!
Alas, a life-long wine love was born.
And do you want to know something I love to do with my favorite wines?
Mix them up with other yummy stuff to make fun wine cocktails to enjoy.
Once these are combined in a glass, it gets topped off with a nice pour of sparkling wine or champagne. Add a few fresh cranberries and lime slices for garnish if you'd like, and you've got one fun bubbly drink.
This Sparkling Cosmopolitan is super simple to whip up with just a few basic ingredients.
Perfect for girls' night in. Or brunch. Or a random Tuesday. Or, with it's beautiful cranberry base and garnish, perfect for Thanksgiving sipping too, don't you think?
So go ahead and grab that bottle of bubbly and enjoy it Cosmo-style!
